Who this covers

This policy explains how DapApp (“Dap”, “we”) handles personal information on this website, including when you claim a page. The Dap app has not launched; this policy will be revised before it does, and it does not describe the app.

What we collect

If you claim a page, we store the account and profile you submit: your email address, the sign-in method you choose (a password, or Google), the username you pick, and the details you add to the page — name, bio, links, and photo. We also store when the account was created. You can browse the rest of the site without giving us any of that.

Page-view measurement is separate, and is described below.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and embeds no advertising. Signing in uses a session cookie so you stay signed in. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, and Vercel’s product is designed not to collect personal information such as your IP address or a persistent identifier. The product demo plays from a file served by this site, not from a third-party player, so nothing is reported back to anyone about what you watch. Claiming a page may also ask you to complete a Cloudflare Turnstile check.

Why we use it

To create your page, keep you signed in, verify your email, and send a password reset when you ask for one. We will not sell or rent your address, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Who else sees it

Account and profile data are stored in Supabase (Postgres and Auth), which acts as our processor on our instructions. Supabase operates data centres outside India, so your information may be stored and processed abroad under Supabase’s own safeguards. Verification email is delivered by Resend, which receives your address for that purpose alone and is likewise our processor. If you sign in with Google, Google handles that sign-in. If the bot check is shown, Cloudflare receives that check. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Page-view counts are processed by Vercel, which hosts this site.

How long we keep it

For as long as you keep the account, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and depending on where you live under other laws too, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to complain to a data protection authority.

A route for making these requests will be published on this page. Until it is, the personal information we hold is what you gave us when you claimed a page, if you did.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top of the page changes with it.
